I previously spent 3 years as a Vice President at Tusk Strategies working on high-stakes policy and communications campaigns for startups and advocacy organizations.

Before that I was a researcher at the RAND Corporation analyzing the risks and opportunities created by emerging technologies and writing a doctoral dissertation on the policy response to shared e-scooters. I started my career as a policy staffer in Congress. I’m based in Los Angeles with my wife and daughter, and I spend my spare time thinking and writing about the future of California.
